Lately.....

Mckinley is 5 months now, and is starting to sit up! Its crazy how fast the time goes. And jessica, Thanks for leaving the boppy pillow thing at my house, I now know that I NEED one. Haha, they are perfect for when she sits up for a min. then falls back, so she doesn't hit her head. And I will bring yours back tonight. We will be over that way!

She LOVES being outside, she can be so pissed off and crying and you just take her outside and she is happy as can be!

Today I made a hat for Mckinley. and accidentally made it too small! So if anyone wants it for a newborn let me know. I will be making more for sure, maybe even selling them. I can't decide, I might just want to keep them all for Mckin!

Quilt Retreat.

The Quilt Retreat was a blast! I am so glad I got to go.. I didn't get much quilting done (Mckinley didn't want to quilt.) But I did learn some fun blocks. I can't wait to get them finished. And I took Mckinley swimming for the first time. She did really know what to do about it. But, I think she liked it.
It was Quite the weekend At Ruby's inn, too much to tell everything but here are a few things I learned....
~My Grandmother is a Mini Celeb over there...
~ The Fun and done, is FUN but not done....
~Mckinley likes Oranges...
~Fans and fireplaces will make a VERY smokey room...
~family is EVERYTHING
~I can make elderly women laugh...
~Quilting lights are not just for night time...
~a pouncer is not someone that pounces on you..
~I lose everything!!!
~Cut your fabric Precisely
~Pay attention which way you are sewing you fabric...

New News

Last week was a big week for McKinley.
~On Monday (the 1st) she rolled over.
~She Has also started holding things.... like her binkie, toys and blankets.
~She has found her ears, ha ha she love to play with them.
~when its tummy time she always finds her way off the blanket. (no more leaving her on a bed!)
~she can put her binkie back in her mouth.
~She is a big momma's girl! (which I LOVE)

Its is so crazy watching her do all these things! She is such a good baby! She hardly ever gets fussy, she is good at entertaining herself, and she does everything on schedule! Perfect for me!!
